This is the best experience I have ever had at a dentist, I walked in a nervous wreck but was soon put at ease by Mr Cunningham and Fiona. The treatment I had was excellent I couldn't be happier, I been given back my smile. I wish I had found this dentist a long time ago.
The dentist is very pleasant and makes you feel relaxed.
He went out of his way to not cause me any pain or discomfort. He used anaesthetic gel to do my scale and polish as i have sensitivity. It was far less uncomfortable than previous teeth cleaning ive had with other dentists.
He also took the time to talk me through flossing which was very useful.
Also the waiting room only plays very quiet classical music which i very much appreciate. Everywhere these days bombards you with annoying pop music.
The dental nurse/receptionist is also very nice, helpful, and calm too.
Its not like any dentist ive been to previously. Will definitely make it my regular dentist.

this was the best experience i could’ve possibly had for my tooth extraction, i was absolutely terrified and struggling with pain from an infection that wouldn’t leave every day, the dentist was absolutely amazing he talked us through the whole process and made sure i was okay throughout the treatment, he was very careful not to hurt me making sure that the injections weren’t painful for me too, by using a numbing gel beforehand. i recommend this place 1000% we will never be going back to the nhs dentists again after this experience . thank you so much, im so happy to no longer be in pain 🩷
Old Forge House has one of the best reception and waiting rooms I have seen, for cleanliness and furniture. As for the Dental area itself, it’s immaculate, and the most up to date equipment. I have been a patient of Eldridge for many years. He always has a smile, that’s what one needs.
As a Dentist, he is excellent. Explains everything, and makes you feel at ease. Not forgetting the Dental Assistant Fiona. I highly recommend Old Forge House! If you are not a patient, you should apply now!

This was the most pleasant experience I have had on a visit to the dentist in my 75 years
My dentist, Mr Cunningham, has recently completed an implant and fixing of a crown into my lower jaw, to replace a molar tooth which had been removed many years ago.
Mr Cunningham took great care to explain every stage of the procedure. The process, of necessity, was very lengthy. However once the crown was fitted,
the meticulous preparatory measurements and prosthetic development, ensured that the crown fitted perfectly. It was well worth the wait.
I am delighted with the result. It feels great to be able to chew my food, equally, on both sides of my jaw.
So thank you Mr Cunningham for taking great care of me, and ensuring that the treatment was almost totally pain free.

I started coming here after having some awful experiences at other dentists and was terrified of getting my teeth looked at - Dr Eldridge is fantastic, always talks through the different options and makes everything clear and easy to understand. I’ve been a patient of Mr Cunningham for several years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He’s extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient. I couldn’t ask for a better dentist. Fiona is also a brilliant assistant assisting Mr Cunningham with everything from receptionist to dental hygienist etc. Nothing is ever too much trouble for either of them. I highly recommend this dentist.
